Piano Tuning Services and Prices

Out of tune pianos are no fun to play.

Pianos go out of tune because of seasonal changes in humidity.

In general, the greater the change and the longer it has been since last getting tuned, the worse it sounds.

This hurts your ears and will make your piano less tunable the longer it stays in this condition.

Standard Piano Tuning

You deserve to have a piano with beautiful tone that is easy to play.

Getting seasonal service in addition to tuning helps maintain your piano's sound and keep it easier to play. Pianos start life ready for such optimal performance, but they deteriorate over time.

Owning a piano whose voice (tone) has deteriorated and that is difficult to play means one thing: You are not going to want to play, because you don't enjoy it.

Pitch Raise Tuning

Perfect for first time clients.

Pianos go out of tune because of seasonal changes in humidity. In general, the greater the change and the longer it has been since last getting tuned, the worse it sounds.

This hurts your ears and will make your piano less tunable the longer it stays in this condition.
A pitch adjustment means more work is needed on the strings to bring your piano back in tune. This extra step is often necessary if your piano has gone years without tuning, the room's humidity fluctuates too much, or your piano has recently been relocated.

Skipping this step means your piano will continue to fall out of tune faster and will never get to a point where it can hold tune well.

Light Cleaning

Remove dust from inside your piano and clean all hard to reach places.

Pianos are difficult to clean because there are so many hard to reach places blocked by fragile parts.

Dust accumulation absorbs moisture causing the strings to rust and permanent stains to appear on your piano's finish.

When this happens your piano begins to look dirty, causes long term irreversible damage to important parts, and makes everything even harder to clean as the finish deteriorates.
